Come in to the Studio!
It is hot...but fall is in the air here!
I have to start planning early for fall projects because it takes me a while to make my pieces. For fall candles I have planned a couple things: Pumpkin and Persimmon, a delicious pumpkin fragrance that I use year-round in my office and Farmhouse in the Fall. This one will remind you of a popular fragrance at a popular bath and body shop. The fragrances are divine but I am beyond excited about the pumpkin vessels I have designed. The Pumpkin and Persimmon will have a burnt orange pumpkin on a blue and brown base while Farmhouse in the Fall is a very earthy blend of creams and browns. A batch is going into the kiln today so stay tuned for the results!

Christmas Plans
For the Christmas season I will be doing some amazing Christmas candles....I cannot wait to get some of them made and show you! One is going to be super fun. White with red and lime green polka dots and a vintage santa on the front- fragrance will be Santa Claus is Coming to Town (will remind you of a fragrance Tis the Season). The other will be more earthy and traditional- a deep cranberry with holly leaves and berries. The fragrance will be Holly Berries. Lots of ornaments to be made as well. Here is a picture of ornaments from last year.

Sunflower Platter (for Mimi)
My mom, Mimi, asked for a sunflower platter a long time ago. I have been searching for just the right sunflower and I finally found it. I love the delicate edge of this one and cannot wait to see it finished! The texture and detail is gorgeous!

Silent Auction Item
I was honored to be asked to donate a piece of my art to the HOPE Foundation's upcoming silent auction. I immediately knew I wanted to create something MS-themed (because that is my favorite theme!) This platter is HUGE and organic and has a magnolia bloom nestled right on it. It is in the kiln now- stay tuned! I think it is going to be great!
